About Dr. Epting
Greetings MAE Family,
Welcome to an exciting new school year! As we launch into the 2025–2026 journey together, our theme “MAE Is Out of This World "—is a celebration of the tradition of curiosity, creativity, and exploration that is evolving at Madison Avenue Elementary School.
At our school, our mission is to provide a world-class educational experience where every student thrives through rigorous and engaging learning opportunities infused with the arts. We believe the arts are not an “extra,” but the very fuel that powers innovation, imagination, and achievement. Just as astronauts rely on both science and creativity to explore new frontiers, our students will rely on knowledge, skills, and artistic expression to reach for the stars.
This year, our vision is to continue preparing a future-ready generation—one that can think critically, create boldly, and collaborate meaningfully. Whether through music, theater, dance, or visual arts, our students will have countless opportunities to shine and discover new galaxies of talent within themselves.
As we embark on this mission together, let us remember that every classroom is a launch pad for unlimited possibilities for our children and every child a rising star. With the strength and commitment of our school community, I am confident this year will be full of growth, celebration, and new milestones that are truly out of this world.
Here’s to a year of limitless learning and stellar success. Together, we will continue to reach for the stars! As principal, my door is always open, and I welcome your input. If I can ever be of any assistance to you in any way, feel free to reach out to me by calling the school at 601-856-2951, by emailing me at kri148@madison-schools.com. I sincerely hope we can connect in one of our many community events and programs throughout the school year. It is with a strong commitment that I serve Madison Avenue Elementary School. Thank you for your continued support.
With excitement & enthusiasm,
Dr. Kristal Pollard Epting, Principal
